For this project, I was assigned to create 4 variations of an animal of my choice. I ended up picking the mallard duck as my animal and I'm super happy with how the project turned out! The first iteration is a logo created in Illustrator. The second iteration is an encyclopedic drawing illustrated on bristol board using graphite. The third iteration is a gesture drawing made to "capture the essence" of the bird. Lastly, the fourth iteration is a transformative piece made to look like the character James Bond, and case you are wondering, yes the duck's name is James... James Pond... It was crafted with various micron pens on bristol. Finally, at the end of the project, I used Photoshop to clean up each iteration.
